gkBRAND Trumps Apprentice

NBC’s The Apprentice tapped the talent of gkBRAND® for a packaging design challenge in preparation for a new season, currently airing. Filmed in New York City, NBC utilized the offices of our close friend and partner, Kaleidoscope, to create and build packaging for a new product. Vásken Kalayjian, the President of gkBRAND®, and Fern Toh, Art Director, were invited to lead two teams of celebrities as they attempted to complete this task.

While living lavish lifestyles on a day-to-day basis, our celebrities found out that a day in the life of gkBRAND® is a challenging one, as they worked feverishly to meet a demanding deadline set by Donald Trump. After an exhilarating but exhausting 12 hours on set, both celebrity teams finally came up with amazing solutions that the gkBRAND® team helped to create, in addition to a newfound respect for the branding industry.

Although the GK Team had a fantastic time filming this episode, they were willing to take a leave from their brief acting career and return to their jobs gkBRAND®.
